World Trade Week NYC 2026

World Trade Week will be celebrated across the country this year the week of May 4 – 8. We will celebrate World Trade Week in the New York metropolitan area by bringing together a dynamic network of partner organizations and trade professionals from across the international trade ecosystem to highlight the vital role of international trade in our regional economy.

Hosted by the New York District Export Council, this year’s version of World Trade Week NYC kicks off with an invitation-only gathering of international trade professionals on Wednesday May 6 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the William and Anita Newman Conference Center on the 7th floor of Baruch College’s vertical campus at 151 East 25th Street, where light refreshments will be served.

The event will be highlighted by a keynote speech by Rodrigo Bellettini, CEO of Sparx Logistics, focused on the growing application of artificial intelligence in international trade and an interview with Tom Cook, managing director of Blue Tiger International, about the  geopolitical events that are shaping the current state and  future of global trade.

We will also dedicate time on May 6 to celebrate the leadership and many contributions to World Trade Week over the years of Lene Skou, deputy director of Baruch College’s Weissman Center for International Business, who passed away suddenly earlier this year.

The Baltic American Chamber of Commerce (BACC) is a proud partner of World Trade Week NYC 2026. BACC has been partnering with World Trade Week NYC for several years, actively supporting its mission and contributing to the dialogue and development of global trade within the region.
