BAJ Accelerator Graduate Wooxy Showcases Estonian Innovation During NYC Tech Week
This week, BAJ Accelerator graduate Wooxy from Estonia traveled to New York City to participate in NYC Tech Week, showcasing Baltic innovation through a series of high-profile events led by CEO Hayk Hayrapetyan.
On June 2, Hayrapetyan hosted "Hacking Customer Retention with AI" in Manhattan's Financial District. The hands-on event brought together founders, developers, and AI enthusiasts to explore how artificial intelligence can help businesses improve customer retention through rapid prototyping and AI-powered development. Participants collaborated to build working MVPs and gain practical experience applying AI to real-world business challenges.
The following day, on June 3, Hayrapetyan presented Wooxy at the iconic Rockefeller Center, introducing the company's vision and technology to investors, entrepreneurs, and members of New York's innovation community.
Wooxy is part of Estonia's remarkable startup ecosystem. Often called a global "unicorn country," Estonia has produced more than ten billion-dollar technology companies, including Skype, Wise, and Bolt, despite a population of only 1.3 million people. The country holds the highest concentration of tech unicorns per capita in Europe and ranks among the world's leading startup nations.
As a graduate of the BAJ Accelerator, Wooxy exemplifies the innovative companies emerging from the Baltic region and expanding internationally. Through mentorship, strategic connections, and access to U.S. markets, the BAJ Accelerator helps startups build meaningful relationships across the Atlantic and accelerate their growth.
The Baltic American Chamber of Commerce (BACC) is proud to support this mission by strengthening business ties between the Baltic States—Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania—and the United States. Wooxy's successful participation in NYC Tech Week highlights the growing impact of Baltic entrepreneurs on the global technology landscape and demonstrates the value of connecting Baltic innovation with opportunities in America.
We congratulate Hayk Hayrapetyan and the Wooxy team on their successful New York visit and look forward to following their continued growth.
