World Trade Week NYC 2026 Once Again Brings Together New York’s International Trade Community

In conjunction with World Trade Week 2026 taking place May 4–8 across the United States, World Trade Week NYC 2026 once again brought together New York’s international business and trade community for its annual kickoff event held today, May 6, 2026, in New York City.

Hosted by the New York District Export Council at Baruch College, the event gathered professionals from more than 70 organizations throughout the New York metropolitan area dedicated to advancing international trade, export development, logistics, and global business collaboration.

As a long-standing partner of World Trade Week NYC 2026, the Baltic American Chamber of Commerce (BACC) is proud to support initiatives that strengthen international commercial connections and create valuable opportunities for globally minded businesses and professionals.

This year’s kickoff event featured a keynote address by Rodrigo Bellettini, CEO of Sparx Logistics, who discussed the expanding role of artificial intelligence in international trade and supply chain operations. Participants also joined a conversation with Tom Cook on how geopolitical developments continue to reshape the future of global trade and logistics.

The May 6 gathering marks the beginning of a broader series of 2026 World Trade Week NYC programs and educational initiatives that will continue throughout the year. Additional events will include trade-focused networking opportunities, export education, and industry discussions organized in collaboration with public and private sector leaders.

For BACC members, participation in World Trade Week NYC provides direct access to an influential international trade network connecting exporters, logistics providers, chambers of commerce, trade organizations, and government representatives. These partnerships help foster business development opportunities, international collaboration, and knowledge-sharing across U.S. and global markets.

The Baltic American Chamber of Commerce looks forward to continuing its collaboration with World Trade Week NYC and supporting initiatives that promote international business growth, innovation, and stronger transatlantic economic ties.
