Lithuanian-American Artist Ray Bartkus is Honored at Federal Hall
Lithuanian-American artist, Ray Bartkus was honored at Federal Hall National Memorial on December 17, 2018. Mr. Bartkus’ opening evening of his contemporary art installation GARDENS was presented by the Consulate General of Lithuania in New York, which will be on display until January 4, 2019. This is in celebration of the Centennial of Modern Lithuanian Statehood. GARDENS was inspired by Lithuanian fold art ornaments. Federal Hall is an American historical landmark, most known for where George Washington’s inauguration into America’s first Presidency occurred. BACC continues to promote the progress of Lithuanians, such as Ray Bartkus.
